THE FILM
A boy with learning differences, uses his BB gun, to solve the painful truth that his Dad is going blind.
Bobby has a BB gun strapped to his back, on a mission, to shoot out a huge street light. Why? Twelve year old Bobby, whose Dad is going blind, needs to prove he has 'special skills' not 'special needs'. But when a cop shows up, Bobby discovers, he is more alone than he's ever been.

DIRECTOR'S
STATEMENT
I wrote a story of a boy who uses magical thinking to 'solve' the painful truth that his Dad is going blind. So when I directed the film, I relied on SOUND, to reveal Bobby's inner life-and our ultimate discovery-he feels 'special' as a delinquent. The police siren comforts him more than shooting a street light. Even if LIGHT washes away everything, SOUND will ring out into the darkness.
